This retreat is for everyone, but especially helpful for people looking to break into triathlon. If you are training for your first sprint, 70.3, or 140.6, this retreat is perfect for you. We will cover all the basics you need to know going in and help you prepare for each discipline with expert advice, tips, and training plans. We will discuss the swim, bike, and run segments, as well as fueling strategies, proper mental preparation, transition etiquette, and more.

Bring your gym clothes! Bring your race bike and a mountain bike if you have one (MTB not critical). You will need running shoes, trail running shoes (not critical), swim goggles, swim cap, wetsuit (depending on time of year), casual clothes, and lounging attire. We will spend time training (as mentioned above in the sample itinerary), workshopping, and relaxing.

The retreat is situated between the beautiful towns of Blueridge, GA (https://www.blueridgemountains.com/) and Mcaysville, GA (https://exploregeorgia.org/city/mccaysville), and borders Tennessee, South Carolina, and Georgia.

The mountain bike activity is totally optional and based on the group and individual athletes' preference. North Georgia is home to some of the most incredible singletrack MTB trails, and we believe that MTB helps build strength for the bike portion of a tri or Ironman. If you do not prefer mountain biking, the same trail is an excellent hiking trail, and the group can organize a trail run or hike.
