JPMC - Shop with Points

A longitudinal diary study screening to identify at least 60 participants who are earning and redeeming points with credit card purchases.

A mix of Non-Chase, Chase Freedom, and Chase Sapphire cardholders across high net worth, affluent, mass affluent, lower mass, and starters segments.

We identified several modes of behavior during our synthesis. These modes help explain how behavior can change due to context and are suitable for understanding people's rational and irrational actions.

The activities in this study allowed us to observe Scouts in their natural environment as they earned, redeemed, and managed benefits and rewards across cards and over time.

Our screener reached 4,316 applicants who shared details to inform our Scout selections and better understand attitudes, characteristics, and motivators around shopping with points.
